Manuscript entry 933. This manuscript of Fantaisie-Impromptu is presumed to have existed based on recollections of a letter. This manuscript is now lost. The assumption could be made that Ludwika Chopin was indeed in possession of a folder with Fantaisie-Impromptu.1 Stainer & Bell have a sheet music booklette that states that in the Introduction.

The recollection describes a manuscript labeled “Fantaisie” for a “d’Este”. If this “Fantazja” does indeed refer to “Fantasia-Impromptu”, it poses an interesting question. Was the 1835 Version of Fantaisie-Impromptu known far before Artur Rubinstein purchased it in an auction in Paris?
